Appropriation

• The process by which the animal and its partner(s) aggregate is called the « appropriation » process.

• (also : tool use, target following, territorial behavior…)

• Parallel processes : The body-environment coupling and the nervous dynamics are « appropriation oriented »

• The more it can be appropriated, the more it is perceptible

• Ultimately, perception is appropriation.
